Privacy Policy

RoGen is an AI-powered coding assistant for Roblox Studio. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We've tried to keep it in plain language.

What we collect

• Email address — used to create and identify your account.
• Usage data — how many code generations you've made, so we can enforce your plan's monthly limit.
• Prompts you send — the text you type into RoGen to generate code is sent to our AI provider to produce a response.
• Game structure summary — the Roblox Studio plugin periodically sends a lightweight summary of your game's Explorer hierarchy (instance names and types, existing RemoteEvent/RemoteFunction/ModuleScript names) so the AI can write code that fits your existing project. This does not include script source code, property values, or any other game data.

We do not collect or store payment card details ourselves — see the Third Parties section below.

How we use your data

• To operate the core service: generating Luau code from your prompts and delivering it to Roblox Studio.
• To track usage against your subscription tier's monthly limits.
• To process billing and manage your subscription.
• To communicate important account or service updates.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your prompts to advertise to you.

Third parties

• DeepSeek — the AI provider that processes the prompts you submit to generate code. Your prompt text, and the game structure summary described above when available, is sent to DeepSeek's API to produce a response.
• Stripe — handles all subscription billing and payment processing. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe manages that securely on our behalf.
• Supabase — stores your account information and manages your login session tokens.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us (see below) and we'll remove your account and associated data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@rogen-ai.com. We'll respond and process deletion requests promptly.

Children's privacy

RoGen requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies/local storage, limited to keeping you signed in (auth session tokens). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of RoGen after changes means you accept the updated policy.
