Pick your OS, then install the plugin below
Click "Download RoGen Plugin (.rbxmx)" above. It saves as RoGen.rbxmx — a plugin file, not a game or model, so nothing runs just by downloading it.
Easiest way (works the same on both OSes): in Roblox Studio, go to the Plugins ribbon tab → Manage Plugins → click the folder icon. That opens your local Plugins folder directly.
If you'd rather navigate there manually, the folder lives at:
Drag RoGen.rbxmx straight into that folder. Don't put it in a subfolder — Studio only picks up plugin files sitting directly inside PluginsPlugins.
Close and reopen Roblox Studio completely. RoGen's icon should appear in the Plugins toolbar. If it doesn't, check Plugins → Manage Plugins to confirm it's enabled.
RoGen needs to reach its own server to generate code — this is off by default per-place in Studio. Go to File → Game Settings → Security, turn on "Allow HTTP Requests," and Save. RoGen will walk you through this itself the first time it needs it if you skip this step.
Open the RoGen widget and click Connect. It'll show you a short code and a link — open that link, sign in (or create a free account), and enter the code. The plugin picks up the connection automatically within a couple seconds.
Once installed, create a free account at rogen-ai.com and connect Roblox Studio to RoGen
